Stunning ice crystals

Happy New Year to you all!

Here is a perfect example of ‘cultivating joy’ in our lives.  I had a rare opportunity to capture a close-up photo of ice crystals on a window during a snowfall while I was visiting Colorado.  My plans to go Christmas shopping that cold, winter morning were delayed because of a snowfall, but look what it brought to me.  I captured it to show you.

Look at this close-up! Just spectacular. It looks like palm trees and swirls from tree leaves.

There is so much beauty around us, more than our everyday habitual perspectives may see.  Nature is fascinating if we take the time to stop and notice.

Enjoy the wonders of winter life, and find its joy and wonder.

Wishing each of you the appreciation of our aliveness in 2013.

In Vancouver Jan 19/13: Dr Joe Dispenza’s workshop

Dr Joe Dispenza

Photo of Dr Joe Dispenza from his website

Dr. Joe Dispenza will be holding a workshop in Vancouver, British Columbia on January 19, 2013 (attend the live event or by streaming video).

If you have been following my blog for awhile now, you may remember I talked about his special workshop and book ‘Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself‘.

There are many techniques out there that claim to teach you the power of the mind, and how to change your life. But after having attended his workshop and seeing for myself what his technique can do for your life, I have become an advocate for his teachings.

See his 4 minute video here:

Please read my previous posts to learn more; especially how I used this to lower my blood pressure.

This time you can attend the workshop live or attend via streaming video.  This is a wonderful opportunity and the cost is very reasonable.  If you have been thinking of doing this, this is a perfect opportunity!  Note that if you register by January 1, the price is a mere $79.   For those of you not living in Vancouver, perhaps you’d like to try attending via streaming video?

I’m excited to share this with you.

Inspiration for all at this time

I’d like to share a beautiful video with you all.  At this time of year, I find Christmas, or whatever belief system you may have, is about a feeling.  This feeling is common amongst all beliefs, and it is one of love and peace.

Dan Benor, of Wholistic Healing Research, collected some of the best images and thoughts into this lovely piece.  Please notice the feeling of expansion and joy as you watch this. It reminds me that we are connected to something so big and meaningful, and that our daily problems are actually so minute. It gives perspective for life.

Give yourself this time to watch.

Warm wishes to you and your loved ones at this time,

~Wendy

Did you join the world in 1 Billion Oms?

One Billion OmsI just finished participating in the worldwide ‘1 Billion Oms’ for 3 minutes. People could chose to chant ‘Om’, be silent and observe, pray or meditate for planetary peace, or open their hearts to compassion.

Sadhguru

Sadhguru, Founder of the Isha Foundation in India.

There was a webcast of Sadhguru, a yogi and profound mystic of our times, just before the 3 minutes began, but most of his webcast didn’t transmit presumably because of the billion people hitting the website at the same time.

If you participated, did you experience anything in particular?  I must say that I did. Even minutes before it started, I felt my heartbeat strongly throughout my body, and a vibration around me.

Whether you felt something or not, isn’t this just a neat idea to bring together people around the world at the same time, setting the intention for world compassion and peace?  We probably all agree that the world really needs this right now.

Om,

~Wendy
