Stunning ice crystals

Happy New Year to you all!

Here is a perfect example of ‘cultivating joy’ in our lives.  I had a rare opportunity to capture a close-up photo of ice crystals on a window during a snowfall while I was visiting Colorado.  My plans to go Christmas shopping that cold, winter morning were delayed because of a snowfall, but look what it brought to me.  I captured it to show you.

Look at this close-up! Just spectacular. It looks like palm trees and swirls from tree leaves.

There is so much beauty around us, more than our everyday habitual perspectives may see.  Nature is fascinating if we take the time to stop and notice.

Enjoy the wonders of winter life, and find its joy and wonder.

Wishing each of you the appreciation of our aliveness in 2013.

  1. Indeed In breathe Joy and Happiness.
As you said “Nature is fascinating if we take the time to stop and notice”.

May This Year Be The Best Of All Previous Years !!!

  2. Isn’t it funny that you got to witness that. I grew up with that on my bedroom window all through the winter and was always in awe. I have never forgotten it so when I took up stain glass years back the first piece I did included glass that has that effect on it. It hangs in my bedroom today and reminds me of waking up to the sun coming through the windows of our bedroom covered in frost.
    Natures art work.
Have a very Happy New Year my dear, dear friend.
