If you think mindfulness and meditation in the workplace is weird, think again. This is growing, and rightfully so.
US Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio is pioneering meditation sessions amidst the rat race of Capitol Hill twice per week – once for lawmakers and once for staff members. I think this is fabulous and I cheer on people like Tim Ryan who are not afraid to lead the way in bringing mindfulness and meditation to their workplaces. Anyone who has done meditation in their workplace it knows that it is a way to center yourself and be more present, be more focused and calm the mind and body even amongst the craziness of stressful work environments.
